INCISO E GESSI 316, THE LATEST FROM CHALKS.

FROM THE AMERICAN TASTE OF THE LINE DESIGNED BY ROCKWELL, TO THE FIRST STEEL PROPOSAL OF THE PIEDMONTESE COMPANY. OUR CONSULTANT MARIKA PRESENTS THEM TO US.

GESSI IS A CERTAINTY. IN DESIGN AND QUALITY. BUT IT NEVER STOPS RESEARCHING AND SURPRISING. MARIKA, OUR CONSULTANT, EXPLAINS WHY.

Q: Gessi has recently launched two new products. Can you introduce them to us?

You said it right: two nice innovations. Or rather, two beautiful innovations ready to meet the taste of many, both for homes and hotels. The first is INCISO, the result of a collaboration with David Rockwell. And then there is GESSI 316, which offers four different style lines.

Q: Tell us about INCISO

This is the Piedmont-based company’s first collaboration with David Rockwell, a benchmark for innovation and leadership. He has created extraordinary experiences and finely crafted design objects around the world. INCISO is the result of this experience, but it also aims to embody American taste and pay homage to the authenticity of the bathrooms of the past. And all, of course, Made in Italy. Gessi’s goal was to conceive a unique line of products that would give value to the skills of the brass manufacturers of yesteryear, while making it fresh and contemporary.

Q: It was born out of a desire to meet the needs of consumers.

Exactly. Today’s home decorators want a return to the authentic and want to surround themselves with products that exude a feeling of reliability and quality. More and more people are looking for something that will look good for a long time and feel good. INCISO meets these requirements.

Q: Gessi’s technical know-how and knowledge of craftsmanship have ensured that the key design features are expressed throughout the collection.

That’s right. The collection achieves an alluring allure in line with Gessi’s philosophy of enriching intimate living spaces with beautiful, well-made objects that remain reliable and functional.
INCISO is made of solid brass and is available in a large number of finishes including black, nickel, bronze. And the different surface treatments offer a wide variety of solutions to suit any bathroom environment imaginable.

Q: Gessi 316 is the only steel line of the Vercelli-based company.

With steel, he has made the body of the tap rich and embellished it with an innovative modular washbasin system. And there’s more: he has characterised this line with aesthetic and decorative details such as textures and patterns, as well as charming finishes.

Q: They coated the smooth steel with four different finishes: Trame, Intreccio, Meccanica and Cesello.

And they are available in 8 different colours.
Trame and Intreccio are ideal for those who love essentiality but want to give their bathroom a touch of sophistication.
Meccanica, thanks to its rich and attractive surface texture, matches the most varied and surprising furnishing opportunities. It has softer, simpler tones and the surface texture is more pronounced and bold. We can say that it winks at industrial-chic.
Finally, Cesello, on the other hand, is a modern classic, totally reinterpreted, of important elegance and novelty. It is open to different stylistic interpretations and possibilities.
