The decision to renovate a house in the countryside, and the desire to make it the place of one’s daily life, marries the spirit of those who love tranquillity, silence and simplicity. We have already talked about it here.

The design of this house starts from these three concepts which, as you can see, have come to life in the selection of shapes, colours and materials.

Light colours predominate, which, as colour psychology teaches us, express a positive outlook on the future and a great sense of confidence.

A feeling that is also confirmed by the size of the spaces which, respecting the architectural identity, are capable of transmitting a great sense of freedom. A sense that is also paid homage to by the windows designed to give light and let the Apulian countryside of Gioia del Colle into the home.

In order to keep in line with this design idea, we opted for a material that was resistant in substance and delicate in perception. We are talking about porcelain stoneware, which was chosen for both the exterior and the interior flooring. A choice of materials and neutral, natural, soft colours.

Stoneware is also found as the top of the hob which, in its simplicity, evokes the style of the classic country kitchen.

The pleasure of tranquillity can also be found in the bathroom. Designed according to a principle of essentiality, it is characterised by elements that enhance its simplicity and comfort for everyday use. Here, too, light colours with subtle darker streaks predominate.
